Christmas Bread Class

This class is a day of festive flavours and baking. It's ideal for anybody with a little baking experience, and by the end of the day you will have made a range of seasonally flavoured bread and bakes to take home and share with friends and family.

You'll make Stollen, chocolate orange babka, seven seed rye crackers, cranberry and rosemary wreath bread, and black olive and parmesan breadsticks. 

All equipment is provided, and we will be happy to help with any questions at all you may have about bread making during the class. You will leave the class with a new confidence in bread making, and you will also be emailed class notes which include each tried and tested recipe so that you can recreate your bakes at home.

  • Understand the fundamentals of bread making including kneading, proving and shaping your dough

  • Make different doughs including an enriched dough

  • Understand your ingredients and how to use them

  • Bake various different breads/bakes

  • Troubleshoot common problems
