1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

“We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to The Cake College Group Ltd

“You”, “Your” refers to any person making a booking or purchasing a gift voucher

“Class” refers to any workshop, course, or event operated by us

“Voucher” refers to any gift voucher issued by us

“Cakes” refers to cakes, cupcakes, cookies, or any goods produced during classes
By making a booking or purchasing a voucher, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

3. Class Bookings
All bookings must be made through our official booking system and paid in advance.
Once booked, you will receive confirmation by email. If not received, please check your spam folder or contact us.
Your place is secured only once full payment or deposit has been received.
4. Minimum Numbers and Cancellation by Us
We require a minimum of three participants for a class to run.
If we cancel a class, you will be offered:

Transfer to an alternative date, or
-
A full refund
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
Our liability is limited to the class fee only. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other related costs.
5. Cancellation, Transfers and Refund Policy
Please choose your class carefully.
Due to small class sizes and advance preparation:
All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This includes if you:

Cancel
-
Do not attend
-
Are ill
-
Experience travel disruption
-
Experience weather disruption
-
Change your mind
-
Book using a voucher
This policy reflects that your place is reserved and preparation costs are incurred in advance.
5.1 Exceptional Circumstances
At our sole discretion, we may allow a transfer only if:

You notify us in advance, and
-
We are able to resell your place
This cannot be guaranteed.
5.2 Last-Minute Cancellation
Cancellations within 48 hours cannot be transferred or refunded under any circumstances.
5.3 Late Arrival
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may refuse entry if it disrupts the class.
No refund or transfer will be given.
5.4 Recommendation
We recommend personal insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
6. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers:

Are valid for six months from purchase

Are non-refundable
-
Cannot be extended
-
Cannot be exchanged for cash
-
May be transferred to another person before expiry
Expired vouchers cannot be used.
Purchasing a voucher does not guarantee class availability.
Gift vouchers are exempt from cancellation rights once issued.
7. Payments and Instalments
Payment must be completed before the class date.
Where instalments are offered:

Deposit secures your place
-
Full payment must be made at least 7 days before the class
Failure to complete payment may result in loss of your place.
Payments made are non-refundable.
8. Consumer Contracts Regulations
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, cancellation rights do not apply to leisure services booked for a specific date.
By booking, you acknowledge that the standard 14-day cancellation right does not apply.
9. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
Our kitchen is not allergen-free.
We cannot guarantee absence of allergens including:

Nuts
-
Dairy
-
Eggs
-
Wheat
It is your responsibility to assess suitability.
Ingredient lists are available upon request.
10. Illness
You must not attend if you have a contagious illness.
We may refuse entry if illness presents a risk.
No refund will be given.
11. Safety and Liability
You attend classes at your own risk, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
We are not liable for:

Injury (except where caused by our negligence)

Loss or damage to personal property
-
Vehicle damage
Personal belongings left behind will be kept for one month.
12. Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who:

Is disruptive
-
Is abusive
-
Is unsafe
No refund will be provided.
13. Age Restrictions
Some classes may have minimum age requirements.
Children must be supervised where required.
14. Intellectual Property
All course materials, designs, and teaching methods belong to us.
They may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially.
Skills learned are for personal use only.
Photography is permitted.
Video recording of staff and class content is not permitted.
We may take photographs for promotional use. Please inform us if you do not consent.
15. Website Accuracy
We aim to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee all information is error-free.
We reserve the right to correct errors.
16. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.
We use your data to:

Process bookings

Provide services
-
Communicate with you
We do not sell your data.

17. Data Storage
Data may be stored securely inside or outside the UK.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data.

19. Third-Party Links
We are not responsible for third-party websites.
20. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure due to events beyond our control.
Including:

Illness

Weather

Classes may be rescheduled.
21. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to cancel bookings.
A full refund will be provided if we cancel.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes will be handled in England and Wales courts.
