FAULT LINE CAKE CLASS
Discover how to create our popular, beautiful floral fault line cake in this relaxed, hands-on class that focuses on building skill and confidence with buttercream decorating.
You’ll bake, fill, and ice a tall buttercream cake, then learn the floral fault line technique — piping buttercream flowers into a delicate band around the centre for an elegant, modern design.
This class is ideal for students who’ve done some basic baking or buttercream work and are ready to learn new techniques, or for anyone who loves a creative challenge in a supportive environment.
Our friendly tutors will guide you step by step, sharing plenty of tips for smooth buttercream, covering, and expressive floral piping using a range of nozzles. You’ll also explore how to add subtle metallic touches and finish your cake with confidence and flair.
All equipment and ingredients are provided, and you’ll take home your beautifully decorated cake along with detailed notes and recipes so you can keep practising at home.
